In 1996, Ozan Evruk started studying at the basson department of Hacettepe Universty Ankara State Conservatory under Orhan Nuri Göktürk. He continuous his studies with Günnur Kurt and Tahsin Arslan. During his studies, he perform as soloist at chamber music and orchestra concerts. In 2001, due to his high achievements, he was allowed to move on to the next grade. He performed as a member of Orchestra @Modern. He played with Bilkent Youth Symphony Orchestra and Hacettepe University Academic Symphony Orchestra. Immediently after graduating from Tahsin Arslans class in 2005, he was admitted to Royal Northern College of Music in the UK on a full scholarship. During his two-year graduate studies and one-year assistantship, he studied with Graham Salvage (Halle Orchestra), David Chatwin (BBC Philarmonic) and Prof. Stefano Canuti. He work in the same school  teaching basson lessons for one year. Besides studying chamber music with Hansjörk Schellenberger and Maurice Bourge, he attemded the master classes of Tolga Alpay ( İzmir State Symphony Orchestra), Lyndon Watts ( Munich Philarmonic ) and Prof. Pascal Gallois. As a member of Mediterranean and Gustav Mahler Youth Symphony Orchestras, he went on tour to Europa and South America and gave concerts at festivals. After working with BBC Philarmonic as a young guest artist, he was admitted to Aurora Chamber Music Festival in Sweden on a scholarship. In this period, he had the chance to work with Prof. Ole Kristian Dahl and give concert with the Aurora Festival Orchestra. In February 2015, Ozan Evruk participated in the Vivaldi Bassoon Concerti masterclass of Sergio Azzolini in Michael-Klosterstein, Germany. In March 2016, Sergio Azzolini and Ozan Evruk gave a solo concert with Bilkent Symphony Orchestra. The principal bassoonist of Bilkent Symphony Orchestra since september 2008, Ozan Evruk holds the post of profesor of Basson and Chamber Music at the Faculty of Music and Performing Arts of Bilkent University.
